Welcome to Santa Lucia di Moriani, on the east coast of Corsica.
From our apartment “A Casa di Lisandru”, located just 30 metres from the beach, you have direct access to the sea and a perfect base to explore the Costa Verde: beaches, mountains, authentic villages and preserved nature.
Here are my personal tips to make the most of your stay.
🌊 1. Beaches and watersports
The Moriani‑Plage beach is ideal both for lazy days and for more active ones.
- Rent a paddle board or pedal boat and glide over the water.
- The watersports centre Costa Verde Aventure offers canoe‑kayak, towed buoys, stand‑up paddle and waterskiing.
- For thrill‑seekers, LS Location Jet Ski offers jet‑ski (with or without a licence), parasailing, paddles and pedal boats.

🥾 2. Nature and hiking
The Costa Verde offers a great variety of landscapes: sea, rivers, waterfalls and chestnut forests.

What can you do in Moriani‑Plage without a car?
From the apartment you can do almost everything on foot: beach (30 metres away), shops, restaurants, market, watersports base and summer open‑air cinema. Many activities and services are accessible without a car.
When is the best time to visit Moriani?
From May to October you enjoy plenty of sunshine. July and August are the liveliest months (markets, events, open‑air cinema), while May–June and September–October are quieter with ideal temperatures for hiking.
Is this destination suitable for families with children?
Yes, the beach in Moriani has a gentle slope and there are many family activities: adventure park, horse‑riding, cinema, Parc Galéa, markets and nature outings. In this page I point out ideas suited to different ages.
Can you combine sea and mountains from Moriani?
Moriani is perfect for that: within a short drive you go from the beach to the hilltop villages of the Castagniccia, waterfalls and hiking trails. It is an excellent base to discover the Costa Verde.

In 3–4 days you can see the essentials around Moriani. In a week or more, you can alternate beach time, hikes, villages and day trips (Corte, Bastia, Bonifacio, Cap Corse…) while still enjoying relaxing time at the apartment.
